Sanitation Associate

Wage: $15.00/ hour

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain plant floor cleanliness by sweeping and cleaning as needed
• Empty trash containers and product waste receptacles on the production floor
• Clean, sanitize, and service employee bathrooms; clean the employee break room including sinks, countertops, microwave and refrigerator; assure locker rooms and uniform area are tidy
• Clean the stairway, hallway, bathroom and test kitchen on the second floor; remove garbage and recycling from offices on both floors
• Assist with weekly sanitation of plant equipment; maintain the sanitation closet & equipment in a clean, safe manner
• Other duties include window washing (inside and outside), picking up garbage in parking lot and general cleaning outside of the building, snow removal in front of entry doors, mowing the lawn, assisting other departments as needed and performing related duties, as assigned.
• Assist QA department with monthly SQF programs such as retain sample checks, pest device inspections
